Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, a reminder of the importance of making mental health support and services accessible to everyone who needs them. Digital transformation is a key part of making that ambition a reality, so must be central to the DHSC’s new 10-year plan to improve mental health.

What we want to see:

  • Better use of information to give insights into how best to support people with mental health conditions
  • A commitment to high quality remote consultations so that people can chose the type of support they receive, and access it at a time and place that works for them – no matter who they are or where they live
  • Incentives to adopt high-quality innovative digital tools that are clinically effective and valued by patients and clinicians

We’re looking for digital mental health providers to join the Digital Healthcare Council. If you would like to join us and influence the conversation, then get in touch.
